A start that is both touching and sad with the loss of a mother that makes you think of how strong a mother's love is to their child. Our lovely lady's travel to the demon world is interesting to say the least and to meet the people even more so. The differences in how they see family and how we see it is also very different. Change happens slowly but they are there and a smile comes to my lips as I see them, they will grow and I can't wait to see them really blossom in the future.I'm really doing my best not to give away too much in the manga because in doing so, I'll spoil the story and I've had that happen and then I wouldn't want to buy the manga. So here's little tidbits. They may not be too helpful but give the manga a try. How else will you know if if you like it or not? I bought it on a whim, curious what it would be about - thinking it might be a stepmother kind of thing, potentially cute and wholesome. At first glance it appears to be a cute story about a Japanese high school student being summoned to a fantasy world to raise cute kids with all the difficulties that come with it. It is seems what the drawing style is going for: cute.If you think a little bit harder it is odd and rather disturbing. They appear to be going for a Beauty and the Beast vibe with her presence changing the somewhat monstrous (but hiding a kind heart) demon king for the better. Think about it though: 16 year old naive girl raising a child *of* and on her own (sure, pregnancy through potion and in minutes, but it is litterally her child), adult grim demon king father who has all the power in the relation. Yeah, her wish to be a mother being strong enough to be the target of the summoning is not helping much. She might have wanted it, but even she admits this not how she imagined it to be.I might have a morbid curiosity where this is going, psychological horror perhaps, (although I don't have high hopes), but this is definitely not for everybody...
